About
CanvasPad is a digital tool developed by licensed psychologist, Dr. Simone Andrews, to improve treatment engagement and outcomes for clients.
Through CanvasPad, therapists and clients can create next steps together, and clients can provide feedback before the next session.
About the Founder
Dr. Simone Andrews is a licensd psychologist. She is founder of her private practice Canvas Psychological P.C. She received her undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology from New York University (NYU), Masters of Arts in Developmental Psychology from Teacher’s College, Columbia University and her Doctorate of Psychology in Child/School Psychology from NYU.
I have worked with a range of diverse clients across age, race and diagnosis throughout my career. I developed CanvasPad because I found there is a lack of options for individualizing and prescribing treatment homework tailored to the needs of each case. Post session, once the intention for the week is set, it can be a challenge for clients to remember to do the work. CanvasPad was developed to help clinicians create next steps with their clients at the end of a session, improve accountability and help both of us see what is working over-time. Ultimately, it is a digital holding environment where next steps are created by the therapist and the client can provide feedback before the next session.
