About

CanvasPad is a digital tool developed by licensed psychologist, Dr. Simone Andrews, to improve treatment engagement and outcomes for clients.

CanvasPad was created to help clinicians personalize and prescribe treatment homework for their clients, improve accountability, and track progress over time.

Through CanvasPad, therapists and clients can create next steps together, and clients can provide feedback before the next session.

About the Founder

Dr. Simone Andrews is a licensd psychologist.  She is founder of her private practice Canvas Psychological P.C.  She received her undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology from New York University (NYU), Masters of Arts in Developmental Psychology from Teacher’s College, Columbia University and her Doctorate of Psychology in Child/School Psychology from NYU.

I have worked with a range of diverse clients across age, race and diagnosis throughout my career.  I developed CanvasPad because I found there is a lack of options for individualizing and prescribing treatment homework tailored to the needs of each case.  Post session, once the intention for the week is set, it can be a challenge for clients to remember to do the work.  CanvasPad was developed to help clinicians create next steps with their clients at the end of a session, improve accountability and help both of us see what is working over-time.  Ultimately, it is a digital holding environment where next steps are created by the therapist and the client can provide feedback before the next session.

You and your client want to see progress over time.  CanvasPad is a web application that helps clinicians in the mental health and coaching field prescribe next steps that are connected to the client’s treatment.  You identify what’s next with your client.  Your client collects data through practice.  Together, utilize the evidence to inform next steps each week.  CanvasPad provides a safe digital space for your client to provide immediate feedback on the homework you have given.  Both of you see a running record of what is working overtime.

You want to get the most out of your treatment.  You go in for a 60 minute session.  You feel energized and ready to tackle the work but it isn’t always convenient or easy to remember to do the work.  Where’s that journal?  What did they say to do again?  Oops I forgot and my session is tomorrow.  CanvasPad provides a safe digital space to provide immediate feedback on your homework to your therapist, while seeing a running record of what is working overtime.  If interested, consult with your therapist and forward this website link.
